Donate Food for a $45 Lift Ticket to Crested Butte Mountain Resort

3 non-perishable food items per person to be donated to local food banks

MT. CRESTED BUTTE, Colo. – Dec. 28 – In an effort to help the local community, Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) is hosting an annual Food Pantry Donation Day this winter on January 7, 2018. The Food Pantry Donation Day supports the Crested Butte and Gunnison food banks. Guests who donate three non-perishable, non-expired food items or one pack of diapers will receive a voucher for a $45 full day lift ticket, valid for Sunday, January 7, 2018, only.

“As a company we value our local community and are always looking for ways to be supportive and give back,” explains vice president of CBMR, Erica Mueller. “Food Pantry Donation Day has now become a tradition over the last few years, where each of us can help our neighbors put food on their plates through the fortune of skiing and riding.”

When a guest brings three cans of non-perishable food or one pack of diapers to the Adventure Center on January 7 between 8 a.m. and noon, they will receive a coupon for a $45 lift ticket to be used that day. Volunteers will help collect food donations and sort into boxes. CBMR will then transport the goods to the two community pantries. It is recommended to donate canned protein items, such as tuna, chili, peanut butter and soups, but of course all donations are welcome.
