Evolution Bike Park Trail Report
UPDATED Friday, July 21, 2017
With consistent afternoon rain showers this month, the trails continue to be tacky and fun! Thank you for your patience as our crews continue to work on Timeline. This trail remains our only closed trail in the Evolution Bike Park. Crews will soon begin work on Primer. The focus will be on the section below Bushwacker and above Gus’ Way. This will eliminate the long straightaway and improve the climbing experience for everyone.
We continue to have extended hours on the Red Lady Express for Twilight Lift Rides on Wednesday and Friday Nights through August 16 on Wednesdays and September 1 on Fridays. An $8 Twilight Ticket gets one unlimited chairlift rides on the Red Lady from 4:30 – 7 PM during these nights. This aligns great with the free Wednesday Live! From Mt. CB Summer Concert Series presented by the Mt. Crested Butte Town Center Association through August 16.
Please note CBMR lifts will not spin if lightning is present in the area. As a reminder, the weather in Crested Butte can change very quickly. Always be prepared for changing weather conditions when enjoying the Gunnison Valley. Our experienced Mountain Operations staff considers safety a top priority. Lift closures can be common this time of year.
As a reminder, please report any information regarding trail conditions, wildlife sightings, injured guests, or additional helpful information to the CBMR Bike Patrol at 970-349-2236. Please call 911 for all emergencies after hours.
